Welcome

Thank you for trusting Missy Bee Advocacy Services, Inc. to help your family navigate through the IEP process. This document outlines what you can expect, how your information is protected, and important policies regarding our services.

1. Confidentiality & Record Security

All client information, including student records, medical histories, psychological evaluations, and internal case communications, will remain strictly confidential and will not be shared without written consent, except when required by law.

To protect your family's privacy, we utilize an end-to-end encrypted cloud network to safeguard all Personally Identifiable Information (PII). For full details regarding data tracking, access logs, and your explicit rights, please review our comprehensive Notice of Privacy Practices located in the footer of our website.

2. Record Retention

Client records are securely maintained for six (6) years from the last date of service. After this period, records are permanently and securely deleted from our servers and archives. More details can be found in the Record Retention Policy available in the members section of the website.

3. Liability & Non-Legal Advice Disclaimer

Missy Bee Advocacy Services, Inc. provides educational advocacy, record analysis, and guidance only. This is not legal advice. Advocates are not attorneys and do not provide legal counsel. Outcomes within the school district cannot be guaranteed, and all final decisions regarding your child's educational program remain the exclusive responsibility of the parent/guardian and the school team.

4. What to Expect

  • Clear explanations of the IEP and 504 process.

  • Strategic guidance on advocacy, rights under the IDEA, and school communication.

  • Professional support in understanding and analyzing school data, evaluations, and placement decisions.

5. Fees, Billing, and Financial Policies

Services are billed according to your selected payment architecture. All digital financial transactions are processed through a secure, PCI-compliant gateway using generic billing descriptions to maintain your privacy:

  • Flat Packages: Pre-paid package rates cover the explicit scope outlined in the service description in your confirmation email.

  • Hourly Fees: Are to be paid prior to the consultation meetings.

  • Monthly Subscriptions: Recurring retainers automatically draft each month until canceled.

  • Refund Policy: Fees paid for completed document reviews, preparation hours, or meeting attendance are non-refundable.

6. Sibling / Multi-Child Provision

This agreement covers all children within the same household. If advocacy services are requested for a sibling or additional child within the same household, a separate Intake Form must be executed, and separate service fees will apply.

7. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing five (5) business days of written notice via email.
